We’ve approached every detail with care to create a cozy, restful space for your trip upstate. The garret is a self-catering vacation rental with complimentary Wi-Fi, board games, cozy sleeping quarters, and a kitchenette stocked with Utica Coffee and cooking staples. As proud patrons of creativity, we feature original works made by independent artists throughout the garret. Below are some of our favorite amenities we’ve curated to give you an intimate and luxurious experience.
Keyless entry and a private entrance
While the Garret is located in a shared building, you’ll have your own entrance and the entire second floor unit to yourself. We provide a unique key code for the duration of your stay so you can come and go with ease.
Vintage Charm, Convenient location
Get a good night’s rest on a Queen size memory-foam mattress, then walk across the green for coffee at Utica Coffee or lunch at Nola’s. The Garret’s location in the heart of Clinton village and convenient to Hamilton College offers our guests the best of rural upstate with all the walkable ease of a quaint college town. There’s also an optional second sleeping nook with a full-size memory foam Murphy bed and privacy curtains if you want to bring a friend!
Kitchenette
You won’t need to cook with world-class farm-to-table restaurants like Nola’s, Motus, and The Tailor and the Cook within striking distance, but if you want to cozy up for a weekend without leaving the Garret, we won’t judge! Wake up with delicious locally roasted Utica Coffee, and cook a meal in our kitchen stocked with staples. We have a stove, oven, microwave, and mini-fridge and freezer for your use.
Soaking tub
Unwind with a bath in our enormous bathtub (that easily accommodates two!) Its cherry wood frame was built by a local craftsman. We provide fluffy towels and homemade soaps scented with essential oils.
